How We Handle Errors, Updates, and Reader Feedback

Published: March 2026 Last Updated: March 2026

Raleigh Rebuild Lyceum is committed to accuracy and transparency. When errors occur, we take them seriously. This document explains how we handle corrections, updates, and reader feedback.

Reporting an Error

If you believe you have found an error in our content, we welcome your feedback. To report a potential error:

Submit a Correction Request

Use our correction request form or email us directly with:

  • The page or section where the error appears
  • The specific content you believe is incorrect
  • Your suggested correction or reference to the correct information

Types of Changes

We distinguish between two types of changes:

Corrections

Corrections address material factual errors—incorrect data, misstated facts, or statements that are verifiably wrong.

Our process: We review correction requests within 5 business days. If an error is confirmed, we correct it promptly and update the last-updated date.

Updates

Updates reflect changes in information over time—new data released, policy changes, program modifications, or evolving conditions.

Our process: We update content when new information becomes available and update the last-updated date to reflect when the change was made.

Correction Process for Material Errors

For material factual errors that have been published and may have been referenced elsewhere:

  • The correction will be made in the content immediately
  • The last-updated date will be changed to reflect the correction
  • A visible editor note may be added explaining the correction
  • Notably significant corrections may be documented in a correction log

What We Do Not Correct

While we take all feedback seriously, some situations fall outside our correction scope:

  • Disagreements with editorial judgment: We respect that readers may interpret information differently, but differing opinions are not errors
  • Requests to remove accurate but unfavorable information: We do not remove accurate content because it may be inconvenient
  • Requests to add unsourced claims: We do not add information without verified sources, even upon request

Our Commitment

We are committed to maintaining the trust of our readers by being transparent about errors and responsive to legitimate concerns. When we make mistakes, we correct them promptly and clearly.

Our goal is accuracy, not perfection. We acknowledge that complex information requires ongoing attention, and we remain dedicated to improving our content as errors are identified or conditions change.
